Research and Project Initiation

Research and Project Initiation is an IEEE KU program designed to help students move from curiosity to concrete research and project work.

The initiative supports participants in identifying meaningful problem statements, forming teams, connecting with mentors, and outlining practical plans for early-stage research and engineering projects.

Through guided sessions and collaborative discussion, students gain exposure to research culture, project planning, and interdisciplinary problem-solving within the Kathmandu University community.

Whether the goal is a laboratory contribution, an independent technical prototype, or a longer-term research pathway, the program provides a formal starting point for serious student-led work.
